TEMPE, AZ : 8-year-old girl died in chain-reaction crash on US 60 in Tempe on Tuesday, 13th February 2024

Four children were hurt in a multi-vehicle crash on U.S. 60 in Tempe on morning, including an 8-year-old girl who later died, the Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed on Tuesday.

It began just before 8 a.m. on Monday when troopers say a westbound SUV changed lanes between Rural Road and McClintock Drive, leading to the initial collision involving seven other vehicles. All four children involved were riding in that SUV.
