TUSCALOOSA, AL : 1 dead after car crash in Tuscaloosa on Saturday, 10th February 2024

A Northport man is dead after a single-vehicle crash that occurred at 2:05 a.m. Saturday.

The crash occurred on watermelon Road, about one mile north of the Tuscaloosa city limits.

20-year-old Oscar L. Trejo was fatally injured when the 2006 Chevy Silverado he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree, according to Tuscaloosa police.

Trejo was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
