Gillette, WY : Man killed trying to avoid eluder near Gillette on Tuesday night, June 30, 2015

Authorities say a man was eluding sheriff's deputies when he crashed his truck into another vehicle southeast of Gillette, killing a 70-year-old man.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says it is investigating the crash at the request of the Campbell County Sheriff's Office, whose deputies were pursuing a 26-year-old man from Recluse on Tuesday night.

During the pursuit, the man crashed into another truck, killing 70-year-old George K. Bryant, of Gillette. Charges against the 26-year-old are pending.
