Orange County, FL : 67-year-old man killed motorcycle crash in Orange County on Wednesday September 30 2015
A 67-year-old man killed Wednesday evening in a motorcycle crash in Orange County has been identified.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Richard Goode, of Orlando, died in the crash, which occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Lee Road at Kingswood Drive.
The FHP said Elmer Crosby, 52, of Orlando, was driving his car east on Lee Road when he attempted to make a left turn onto Kingswood Drive.As Crosby made the turn, he traveled directly into Goode's path, troopers said.
Goode struck the side of Crosby's car and was thrown off his bike, the FHP said.Goode was taken to a hospital but later died, troopers said.Charges are pending.Stay with News 6 and ClickOrlando.com for updates on this story.
