Annapolis, MD : Child dies in Maryland City crash on February, Monday 5th 2018

A 6-year-old girl died in a crash Monday night when the car she was riding in went down an embankment in Maryland City and rolled over into the trees.

Anne Arundel County firefighters responded around 11 p.m. to a crash reported near the Baltimore Washington Parkway and Route 198, a fire department spokesman said Tuesday morning.

They found a car flipped on its side, wedged between two trees with two men trapped inside.

While surveying the crash scene, firefighters found the girl, who apparently was thrown from the vehicle during the crash. Paramedics declared her dead at the scene, the spokesman said.
