Portland , OR : 56 - Years old woman injured and sent to hospoital after hitting at Northeast 57th Avenue on Thursday , January 15th 2015

Officers are looking for the driver that sped off after hitting a pedestrian in Northeast Portland’s Cully neighborhood.

The pedestrian, later identified as 56-year-old Clarice Charging, was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The crash happened at around 6:50 a.m. near the intersection of Northeast 57th Avenue and Prescott Street.

Witnesses say a 2005-06 Ford Escape drove off eastbound on Prescott after hitting Charging.

The SUV is dark-colored (possibly gray) and will have damage to the front plastic bumper, and the driver’s side fog light, headlight and mirror.
