OWYHEE, NV : A Mountain Home man was killed in a crash on Wednesday, August 30, 2017

A Mountain Home man was killed in a crash early Wednesday a mile north of the Nevada border.

Armand Mason, 36, was driving a Toyota Tundra north on Idaho 51 when he crossed over the center line and collided with a construction sweeper driven by James Cole, 29, of Declo.

Mason lost control and rolled off the shoulder of the road. He was thrown from the pickup and died at the scene.

Police say he was not wearing a seat belt.
