NASHVILLE, TN : 2 school bus crashes under investigation in Rutherford County on Thursday, 21st March 2024

Two school bus crashes are under investigation in Rutherford County on Thursday, according to Murfreesboro police.

Police said no students were injured in two bus crashes Thursday afternoon, both of them off of Mansion Pike.

The first crash occurred at the intersection of John Lee and Mansion Pike at 3:30 p.m. The bus full of Blackman Middle School students suffered minor damage after clipping the front right bumper of a car.

In the second crash, at about 3:49 p.m. on Brinkley Road at the Mansion Pike intersection, a driver suffered a medical episode and hit the rear bumper of a school bus. The driver was taken to the hospital for treatment and no one on the bus was injured.
