MURFREESBORO, TN : Female passenger killed in Murfreesboro crash on Thursday, 2nd August 2018

Authorities say a woman was killed in a head-on collision in Murfreesboro on Thursday morning.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, an SUV and a van collided on West Jefferson Pike around 6:40 a.m. The victim was the passenger in the van.

Officials said multiple agencies responded to the scene, including LifeFlight.

THP is still working to determine the cause of the deadly collision.
