Cleveland, OH : One dead, three injured in Serious motorcycle accident on I-480 westbound near Ridge Road on Tuesday, July 1, 2014

All lanes on I-480 westbound near Ridge Road are now back open after a fatal accident closed the highway for several hours.

Officials on scene say a motorcycle was traveling westbound when he crashed into the back of a vehicle. Cleveland EMS confirmed the rider died as a result of the crash. At this time, it's not known if he was wearing a helmet.

Three other people inside the vehicle were transported to MetroHealth Hospital. Their conditions are not known at this time.

Clean-up of the scene continued into the early morning hours Wednesday.

The identities of the victims have not been released.
