HOLLYWOOD, FL : BMW driver accused of crashing into Florida trooper gets arrested on Tuesday, 25th June 2019

About a month after a Florida trooper was hit by a BMW before its driver sped off, the Florida Highway Patrol says they've made an arrest.

Trooper Arsenio Caballero was helping with seat belt enforcement on May 25 at the Florida Turnpike in Broward County when the FHP said he was violently struck by a vehicle.The driver of the white BMW accused of hitting Caballero was later identified as Donnell Reddy.

Reddy was stopped by another trooper on the southbound exit ramp and hit Caballero as he was walking across the ramp, FHP says.
