VICTORVILLE, CA : Authorities identify Dr. Markell Lakeith Trinh as man killed in collision on Wednesday, 11th September 2019

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has identified Dr. Markell Lakeith Trinh, 37, as the man recently killed in a two-vehicle collision that left another driver with major injuries.

A resident of Hesperia, Trinh was involved in the collision on Sept. on Bear Valley Road and Balsam Avenue in Victorville, according to a sheriff’s report. Trinh was affiliated with St.Joseph Health, St. Mary in Apple Valley, according to several people in the medical community.

Eddie Hernandez, the spokesman for Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville, said he was saddened by the news and offered prayers for peace for Trinh’s family. He added that Trinh’s family has lost a loved one, a father, a husband and a son.

Sheriff’s deputies said the collision happened at about 12:40 a.m on Bear Valley Road near the intersection with Balsam Avenue. During the incident, a red 2011 Hyundai Tucson, traveling west on Bear Valley Road, and a white 2016 Audi A5, traveling south on Balsam Avenue collided.
