3 killed in road accident in South Tennessee

Three people, including a couple, were killed when the car in which they were travelling collided head on with a lorry at Sathiyapuram Vilakku near Melur on the Tiruchirapalli-Madurai fourlane road, here today.
Police said, the deceased M Sathish Kumar (42) and his wife S Isakki Lakshmi (38) were proceeding to Chennai from Tuticorin to attend a condolence, when the mishap occurred. The couple were killed on the spot while the driver of the car, Babu (25), succumbed to his injuries at Melur Government Hospital.
