BRADLEY COUNTY, TN : Interstate crash in Bradley County kills 37-year-old woman on Sunday, 21st July 2024

A crash on Interstate 75 in Bradley County killed a 37-year-old woman Sunday afternoon.

The accident happened a little after 4 p.m. near the 28 mile marker, according to a report we obtained from the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP).

The report says a 2003 Chevy Tahoe driven by Monica Thompson of Virginia was heading north when it drove off the roadway and onto the left shoulder.

The THP says Thompson over-corrected and swerved to the right.

Her vehicle then crossed both lanes of travel, ran off the road, struck a large tree and overturned.
