Haywood County , TN : Woman killed in icy crash on I-40 in Madison County line on Friday afternoon, February 20, 2015

Tennessee Highway Patrol confirms someone was killed in a crash on Interstate 40 in Haywood County on Friday afternoon.

The weather-related accident happened westbound on I-40 just a few miles west of the Madison County line. A woman was killed in the crash. A child was in the vehicle. No word yet on whether the child was injured.

The roads near the accident are slick.
