Orange County ,FL : Pedestrian injured after Struck by vehicle near North Avalon Park Boulevard on Saturday evening ,July 25th 2015

Charles Weatherford, 63, of Cocoa, fatally struck a pedestrian shortly before 9:15 p.m. as the unidentified Orlando man stepped into traffic to try to cross East Colonial Drive, said Sgt. Kim Montes, an FHP spokeswoman.
The crash blocked a dark stretch of eastbound East Colonial Drive, near North Avalon Park Boulevard, for more than an hour.
Both the pedestrian and Weatherford were brought to Florida Hospital East by ambulance.
