NASHVILLE, TN : 1 dead after crashing into I-24 bridge on Saturday, 12th October 2024

One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Rutherford County on Saturday, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP).

The crash happened on Interstate 24 East near Mile Marker 74 just before 11 a.m.

THP reports that 42-year-old William Scurlock was driving east when he side-swiped another car and swerved off the left side of the road.

Scurlock’s Toyota Tundra then hit a bridge pillar and came to a final rest.

The THP said Scurlock died as a result of the crash.
