GOFFSTOWN, NH : Cleanup complete after heating oil spilled in crash near Goffstown water supply on Friday, 7th December 2018

Cleanup is complete on an oil spill that happened last month in Goffstown.

The spill happened when a tanker overturned on icy Mountain Road, spilling hundreds of gallons of home heating oil near the town's drinking water supply.The cleanup involved digging up contaminated dirt, rebuilding part of the road and reinstalling drainage pipes.

Crews will also install six monitoring wells in the area.

While Mountain Road is back open to all traffic, workers will still be in the area.
