Chemung County, NY : 15-year-old killed and four other young people injured car crash on Sunday August 9th 2015

Police are looking into the cause of a one-car crash on a Southern Tier road that left a New York teenager dead and four other young people injured.
The Chemung County Sheriff's Office says 24-year-old Justin Jayne of Elmira was driving the vehicle around 5 p.m. Sunday when he lost control on a curve and hit a utility pole in the town of Southport, on the Pennsylvania border.
Deputies say a 15-year-old girl from neighboring Elmira was riding the back seat and suffered critical injuries. She was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, where she died. Her name hasn't been released.
Jayne, a 21-year-old man and two other teenage girls were all treated at local hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries and released.
