COLORADO SPRINGS, CO : Crashes closes lanes on both sides of I-25 on Friday, 9th February 2024

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is reporting a traffic crash in the early morning of Friday, Feb. 9 has closed lanes of traffic on I-25 near Garden of the Gods Road.
According to CDOT’s COtrip, there are crashes on both the southbound and northbound lanes of I-25 near Garden of the Gods Road. CDOT said the crash was reported around 7:34 a.m. on Friday and occurred between exits 146 and 145. The crash closed the left lane of I-25 southbound.
There is another crash reported in the area the shoulder on I-25 northbound is closed to a crash as well.
CDOT is warning that icy roads are causing multiple crashes and is advising drivers to use alternative routes or expect long delays.
