Bakersfield, CA : Bicyclist crash dies on Saturday, November 19th 2016

A bicyclist who slammed into the side of a vehicle at 21st and O Street in Bakersfield Saturday afternoon died Sunday.

The accident happened at 1:57 p.m. Saturday when the bicyclist, who was traveling east on 21st Street, rode into the side of a vehicle that was southbound on O Street, police reports stated.

The bicycle rider was not identified in police reports. He was transported Saturday to a local hospital with major injuries.

Police reported that they were informed, Sunday, that the man had died as a result of his injuries.
