Tour Bus Gets Caught in Flash Flood in Dolan Springs Arizona

A tour bus tried to cross a flooded wash in Dolan Springs, AZ and got swept 300 yards away in rushing waters. Dolan Springs is located in Mohave County, Arizona in the northwestern corner of the state bordering southeast Nevada along Lake Mead and the Colorado River about 36 miles northwest of Kingman, Arizona.

The accident happened in the afternoon of July 28, 2013 with 33 passengers aboard. The bus wound up partially tipped over on its wheels. All of the 33 passengers escaped without injury. The bus was returning back to Las Vegas, Nevada on its way back from the Grand Canyon Skywalk about 43 miles from the site incident.
