Russellville, KY : A single-vehicle crash on East Brown Road on Sunday, 18th August 2019

Emergency crews responded Sunday night to a single-vehicle crash on East Brown Road.

Six people, including four children, were taken to several area hospitals for injuries.

According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Department, the initial call came in around 8:45 p.m. Sunday.

At the time, Henry County was under a severe thunderstorm warning. Henry County Emergency Management had advised residents to seek shelter due to damaging winds, large hail and the threat of flash flooding.

Henry County Sheriff’s Department, Liberty Township Volunteer Fire Department and New Castle EMS responded to the wreck.
