A 49-year-old man was injured late Friday night when the dump truck he was driving went off the road while he was delivering concrete to the U.S. Highway 2 construction site in Williston.
David Brown, of Epping, was driving a 1988 International dump truck on West Front Street around 10:50 p.m. when he drove off the roadway and his truck overturned in a ditch, according to a news release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Brown was seriously injured in the crash, the highway patrol said. He was taken to CHI St. Alexius Health in Williston and later airlifted to Trinity Hospital in Minot.
No update on his condition was available Saturday afternoon.
