Benton, AR : Former coach's son killed in head-on collision on Arkansas 35 in Grant County on Monday, June 6, 2016

The son of former Bryant football coach and athletic director Tom Farmer died in a head-on collision Monday on Arkansas 35 in Grant County.

According to a report from the Arkansas State Police, Benjamin Richard Farmer, 29, of Benton was driving a 2007 Hummer southbound when he crossed the centerline, colliding head-on with a logging truck.

The accident occurred at approximately 7:06 a.m.
