Baltimore ,MD: Two injured in crash involving patrol car Thursday afternoon

civilian and Baltimore police officer were injured in a collision Thursday afternoon, police said.

A marked patrol car was involved in a crash with another vehicle at the intersection of MLK Boulevard and Druid Hill Avenue in the Heritage Crossing neighborhood. Both drivers were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The intersection was closed as of 4:53 p.m., according to police. The Mayor's Office of Emergency Management told drivers to expect delays.
