TERRY, MS : One airlifted after crash with Hinds County deputy in Terry on Tuesday, 31st July 2018

One person was airlifted after a crash involving a Hinds County sheriff's deputy and an SUV near the corner of Stubbs Road and Lebanon Pinegrove Road in Terry.MHP is on scene investigating and assisting with this wreck.

According to MHP, it appears that the deputy was driving eastbound on Lebanon Pike. The SUV tried to turn left onto Stubbs Road and the two vehicles crashed into each other.

The driver of the SUV was airlifted with injuries. The deputy was injured, but those injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. He was taken to the hospital in an ambulance to be treated for his injuries.
