Marion County ,FL : 8-year-old fatal victim in Marion County car crash on Wednesday ,July 8th 2015

An eight-year-old was killed in a car crash Wednesday along County Road 25 in Marion County.

After 11:30 in the morning, Florida Highway Patrol investigators said a Ford Mustang veered into traffic going the opposite direction and slammed head first into another Mustang.

Faith Wilt, 33, Calib Spann, 8, and Cody Spann, 12, were inside the car.

The eight-year-old was killed, while the 12-year-old and the adult were critically injured.

The driver of the other Mustang Jessica Moor was also seriously hurt.
