2 dead, 5 injured in crash in Talladega County in Birmingham Alabama
Alabama state troopers are investigating a crash that killed 2 and injured 5 others in Talladega County.Just after 11 p.m. Friday, two vehicles crashed north of Sylacauga on state highway 21 .
Two people were killed during the accident. They have been identified as 35-year-old Filemon Reyes Santigo and 23-year-old Areli Jacinto. Both victims were from Talladega.
Santigo was driving one of the vehicles involved in the crash.
Five others were injured during the accident; four of the injured are childrenThe children injured are 11, 7, 6 and 1 year old. All were taken to Children's Hospital in Birmingham.
The driver of the second vehicle was also injured. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Alabama state troopers are still investigating this accident.
