Madison, WI : Fleeing suspect crashes into Dane County deputy's squad car on Saturday, December, 16th 2017

A 22-year-old Endeavor man allegedly led multiple Dane County law enforcement agencies on a 12-minute chase Saturday night after driving away from Madison police, hitting a road sign in Sun Prairie and ramming into a sheriff deputy's squad car before running into stop sticks set up on Interstate 39-90 and briefly fleeing on foot.

Anthony W. Smith, 22, was arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol near the 6900 block of Hickory Lane in the town of Vienna, the Dane County Sheriff's Office reported Sunday night. The deputy involved, a 24-year veteran of the sheriff's office, received minor injuries in the crash.
