Ellensburg, WA : Semi-truck driver dies in Blewett Pass crash on Monday morning, December 22, 2014

The Washington State Patrol says the driver of a semi-truck killed in a crash Monday morning on Highway 97 at Blewett Pass was driving too fast for conditions.

Troopers say the truck ran off the highway and hit a tree.

The crash killed 53-year-old Daniel D. Higgenbottom of Gig Harbor.
