NASHVILLE, TN : 2 on-duty Drug Task Force officers hospitalized after crashing into 18-wheeler on Saturday, 26th August 2023

Two Tennessee Drug Task Force officers were injured after a two-vehicle crash between their car and an 18-wheeler.

Jeffery Mathis, of Pulaski, and Jason Sexton, of Leoma, were both injured in the crash. According to THP, they were on-duty and driving an unmarked patrol car.

According to The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), Mathis and Sexton were driving east on U.S. Hwy 64 West in Lawrence County.
