CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC : One eastbound lane of I-26 reopens after crash near University Blvd. exit on Thursday, 24th January 2019

A crash with reported injuries blocked all eastbound lanes of I-26 just past the University Boulevard exit Thursday morning.
As of just before 11:45 a.m., the far left lane reopened to traffic, but heavy backups were being reported.
The crash happened at approximately 11:04 a.m., according to the state Department of Public Safety.
At noon, the estimated drive time from Summerville to downtown Charleston had reached 63 minutes.
Traffic cams showed a heavy traffic jam two miles ahead of the crash scene.
Emergency crews are on the scene.
