Richmond, VA : Nottoway teenager killed in single-vehicle crash on Sunday September 3 2016

A a 17-year-old boy was killed Sunday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash in Nottoway County.
Virginia State Police responded to the crash of a 1989 Ford F-250 that occurred about 1:55 p.m. in the 1900 block of Rocky Ford Road near its intersection with Lone Pine Road.
The truck's driver, David L. Harris Jr., 17, of Nottoway, died at the scene. It was unclear whether Harris was wearing a seat belt.
The truck had run off the road, struck a tree and caught fire, police said. Speed was being considered a factor in the crash.
