Flintstone, MD : Man killed in motorcycle crash on Interstate 68 on Saturday evening, April 16, 2016

A Flintstone man was killed Saturday evening when he lost control of his motorcycle on Interstate 68 eastbound at the 64-mile marker, Maryland State Police said.

James Allan Rice was operating a 2004 Harley Davidson east of M.V. Smith Road when he failed to negotiate a righthand curve and lost control of the motorcycle, police said.

Troopers were assisted by Trooper 5 medevac helicopter, Flintstone and Orleans volunteer fire companies and the Maryland State Highway Administration.
