MADISON COUNTY, KY : Early morning crash blocks Berea Road in Madison County on Monday, 1st March 2021

Berea Road was blocked in Madison County near Crooksville Road Monday because of a crash.

The sheriff’s office says one vehicle going northbound lost control, crossed the center line and hit a southbound vehicle.

One of the drivers was thrown from their vehicle in the crash and taken to UK Hospital with serious injuries. The driver and passenger in the other vehicle were taken to St. Joseph Berea Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Berea Road has since reopened.
