Columbus,OH : Medical incident may have led to head-on crash in Madison County on January, Monday 29th 2018
A Kentucky man who died in a head-on crash Monday evening in Madison County might have had a medical condition that caused the incident, London police said.
Scott Boyd, 47, of Quincy, Ky., was driving a 1999 Honda Accord westbound on East High Street in London when his car crossed the center line and crashed head-on into an eastbound, 2008 Ford Edge driven by Donald Chandler, 44, of Columbus, police said.
Boyd was pronounced dead at the scene. Chandler sustained minor injuries, police said.
London Police Sgt. Keith Akers said that Boyd might have experienced a medical condition that caused him to drift left of center.
The Madison County coroner’s office is continuing its investigation.
