Phoenix, AZ : U.S. 60 reopens after crash in Surprise on Monday, December 19th 2016

A stretch of U.S. 60 in Surprise was closed for two hours Monday night following a collision near Bell Road, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The freeway was closed in both directions about 8 p.m. Traffic was rerouted through a nearby Walmart parking lot as officials investigated. The road restrictions were lifted at about 10:15 p.m.
