Bladen County, NC : 8 children, 1 adult injured in church van crash on Highway 87 in East Arcadia on Monday morning, December 7, 2015

Eight children and one adult were taken to the hospital Monday morning after their church van crashed in Bladen County.

According to Emergency Services Director Bradley Kinlaw, the crash happened along Highway 87 in East Arcadia at around 10:20 a.m.

There is no word on the condition of those taken to the hospital.

State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

Emergency crews from Riegelwood assisted Bladen County officials with the incident.
