Orlando, FL : 1 dead after crash involving dump truck; intersection near turnpike and S.R. 528 shut down on Friday, 9th August 2019

Troopers are at the scene of a fatal crash Friday morning in the southwest industrial section of Orlando, according the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at about 5:13 a.m. between a dump truck and another vehicle at Bachman and Thorpe roads, east of the Florida Turnpike and south of State Road 528, FHP said.
One of the drivers is confirmed dead, FHP said.
Neither identity has been revealed.
The intersection is shut down, FHP said.
The dump truck appears to have also crashed off road and into a palm tree.
Troopers are still investigating the scene.
