Beaumont, TX : One dead in rollover crash on Texas 73 near Boondocks Road on Saturday, March 18, 2017

A 23-year-old woman from Hamshire was killed in a one-vehicle rollover accident on Texas 73 near Boondocks Road on Saturday, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The accident happened around 1:45 p.m., DPS Sgt. Stephanie Davis said in a news release.
The driver of a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox was traveling westbound on Texas 73 when she had a blowout on her rear tire, which was a donut spare, according to Davis.
The driver, a 56-year-old woman from Port Arthur, lost control of the car, which flipped several times, Davis said.
The driver was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with minor injuries, according to DPS.
