McCracken County ,KY : Driver injured in crash along Cold Springs Rd on Friday night , May 8th 2015

One person was injured in a crash on Cold Springs Road in McCracken County, Kentucky on Friday night.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to the crash at around 7:30 p.m. on May 8 in the 4700 block of Cold Springs Road.

When they arrived, deputies say 26-year-old Hannah Klope, of West Paducah, was going north on Cold Springs Road, approaching a set of s-curves.

For undetermined reasons, deputies say Klope's vehicle dropped off the right hand shoulder. When she tried to bring her vehicle under control, they say she overcorrected, causing her vehicle to leave the opposite side of the road before rolling onto its side in the adjacent ditch.

Deputies say Concord Fire and Rescue stabilized Klope's vehicle and helped her get out. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries.

According to deputies, Cold Springs Rd. was closed for about an hour for clean-up and investigation.
