Cole County, MO : Man seriously injured after being ejected during crash early Saturday morning, January 28, 2017

One man was seriously injured after being ejected from his car early Saturday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Brandon Bailey of Jefferson City was traveling east on Highway 54 at around 3:18 a.m. when his vehicle left the roadway near United Road.

The vehicle overturned and ejected Bailey, who was transported to University Hospital for treatment.

Troopers say Bailey was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
