Copperas Cove, TX : Killeen woman killed when hit by SUV on I-14 on Friday, 2nd February 2024

A 38-year-old Harker Heights woman was killed early Friday morning when she was struck by an SUV while walking on Interstate 14 near the Coryell/ Bell County line.

DPS Sergeant Bryan Wasko said Latrina Cheree Williams was pronounced dead at the scene at mile post 279 just inside Coryell County.

The accident was reported at 4:35 a.m. Sgt Washko said the initial report indicated the victim had been walking in the left lane of the westbound side of the highway when she was struck by a westbound 2023 Dodge Durango driven by a 42-year-old Harker Heights woman. Troopers said the victim was killed on impact.
