Galliano, LA : Galliano man killed in two-vehicle crash on 134th Street in a 2003 Mercury Sable on Friday, 3rd January, 2020

A 69-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash this morning in Galliano, State Police said.
The crash claimed the life of Oliver Danos, of Galliano, Senior Trooper Jesse LaGrange said in a release.
Danos was driving west shortly before 11:30 a.m. C, LaGrange said. After entering La. 3235, he reached an intersection while a 2016 Toyota Tacoma driven by 58-year-old Harvey resident Mitchell Miguez approached from the south and struck the Sable.
Although Danos was wearing a seat belt, he suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead, LaGrange said. Miguez was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash.
Impairment is unknown on the part of Danos and standard toxicology results are pending, LaGrange said. A breath test showed
