STAMFORD, CT : High school student killed in Stamford crash on Sunday, 19th May 2024
A high school student was identified as the victim in a deadly motorcycle crash that happened in Stamford last week.
Though his name wasn’t released, he was identified as a 17-year-old who rode a 2020 Kawasaki motorcycle.
“Our Stamford community is heartbroken by the tragic loss of one of our Stamford High School students,” said Mayor Caroline Simmons. “My thoughts and prayers are with the student’s family and friends during this time of unimaginable grief. My office will continue to work closely with the Superintendent’s office to ensure grief and crisis response resources are available to support students and faculty as they navigate this challenging news.”
The crash happened on Friday around 9:15 p.m. on Lockwood Avenue.
