DEERWOOD, MN : 24-year-old man was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday,14th April 2018

A 24-year-old man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 9:55 p.m. Saturday on Highway 210, 1 mile east of Deerwood.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported a Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Cooper J. Blau, 24, Chisholm, was traveling west on Highway 210 when it lost control and crossed the centerline, where it was struck broadside by a Chevrolet Impala, driven by William P. Quiel, 76, Aitkin.

Blau was transported to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby for non-life-threatening injuries. Quiel was not injured.

The state patrol reported the roads were snow-covered and icy.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office assisted the state patrol at the scene.
