Memphis, TN : Truck crashes off overpass near Poplar Avenue and Scott Street on Sunday night, January 4, 2015

A bizarre crash sent at least one person to the trauma center at Regional Medical Center late Sunday night.

A truck somehow ran off the overpass near Poplar Avenue and Scott Street. Another car nearby was damaged our crews said it looked like it had been rear-ended.

The accident happened around 11:00 p.m.

Police say the driver of the truck was trapped. Once freed, he was taken to the Regional Medical Center in non-critical condition.

No word yet on what led up to the crash.
