A 64-year-old Richmond man was killed a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 295 in Hanover County on Wednesday.State police said they responded about 1:50 p.m. to the crash scene, which was on northbound I-295 just south of the 41 mile marker. A preliminary investigation found that the victim was driving a 2015 Hyundai Elantra when the vehicle veered off the road and hit a CSX overpass.

The driver, whose identity was not released, died at the scene. The crash remained under investigation.
