One man was injured when a bicycle struck a vehicle at Federal and Smith streets on Wednesday morning.
Greenfield Police said the call came in at 9:29 a.m. and two officers nearby responded. A woman driving a Subaru Forester was at the stop sign at Smith preparing to turn onto Federal Street but did not see the cyclist, who was riding on the sidewalk and struck the car, police said.
The cyclist was alert and taken to the hospital because of pain in his lower left leg.
Police said there was damage to the bicycle but very little damage to the car.
